Junior League of Columbia’s Clean Sweep sale set for Feb. 1

COLUMBIA — The Junior League of Columbia’s 18th annual one day rummage sale — Clean Sweep — will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Cantey Building at the S.C. State Fairgrounds.

Clean Sweep will feature new and used items donated by League members, citizens and local business.

Items will include handbags, jewelry, books, music, games, children’s toys and clothing, maternity clothing, furniture, home and garden, house wares, holiday, appliances and electronics, linens, and sporting goods.

The Clean Sweep sale is a fundraiser to support the Junior League of Columbia’s mission and community projects. Gates open at 7 a.m. and parking is $2 per car. Doors open at 8 a.m.

Admission is $3 per person and children under 12 are admitted free. The famous $5 bag sale begins at noon and ends at 12:30 p.m. Cash sales only. No vendor space is available to the public. For more information, visit
