Newberry County Council presented a proclamation on March 5 to the Newberry County Disabilities and Special Needs Board and members of their self-advocacy group, Voices for PRIDE, declaring March 2014 as Disabilities Awareness Month in Newberry County. Activities planned statewide include a self-advocacy rally and events at the Statehouse.
