A woman was attacked from behind and stabbed yesterday by four unknown females in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Court.

According to the report, the victim was visiting a friend and after exiting her vehicle, she went to call her friend and was suddenly struck from behind with an unknown object.

Afterwards, she was knocked to the ground and kicked.

During the attack, the victim was cut twice on the right side of her back. Her injuries were straight clean cuts consistent with the that of a knife or blade according to the report.

The victim was treated at West Georgia Medical Center and needed approximately 30 stitches.

The victim described one of the female suspects as “bright skinned with braids” but could not describe the other suspects, the report said. The victim’s friend did not see any of the suspects.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
