NEWBERRY — Do you remember your honeymoon, your first flight, or even your first child being born? The Newberry Community Players are hoping this weekend’s production of “I Do, I Do” can take you down memory lane.

The musical dinner theater will take place at Community Hall in downtown Newberry. Saturday’s production will be at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday’s matinee is at 1 p.m.

The production also will be held March 8 and March 9 with the same location and performance times.

“I Do, I Do” uses songs such as the hit “My Cup Runeth Over With Love” by Ed Ames and Robert Goulet to take the audience on a musical journey through 50 years with Michael and Agnes Snow, from their honeymoon through their golden age.

The gourmet meal and the dessert reception are designed as if the audience is at the couple’s anniversary reception and are included in the price of the ticket.

Tickets are $42 for adults, which includes food. There is also a cash bar. Groups of 10 people or more are $35 a piece.

Advance tickets are recommended as there is limited seating. Tickets can be bought through the Newberry Opera House Box Office at 803-276-6264 or online at www.newberryoperahouse.com/.
