The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Jaran Harris, 26, of 202 Buffalo St., Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence, resisting arrest, spitting on law enforcement officers, and malicious damage to a county car around 2:33 a.m. Feb. 3. According to the incident report, a woman reported that Harris was trying to unlawfully enter her house and that she feared for her safety. When officers arrived, they learned Harris entered the house through an unlocked bathroom window. Harris resisted being handcuffed and threatened officers. As he was placed in a police car, Harris kicked and spit on officers. He began kicking the rear passenger window which shattered and damaged the door frame. Harris advised officers he would continue to kick them and black their eye, and he was drive stunned and further restrained before being transported to Union County Jail.
— Jose Alfredo Felix, Jr., 28, of 108 Mountain Brook Lane, Spartanburg, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, petit larceny, and removing/affixing license plate to misrepresent vehicle owner identity around 9:38 p.m. Jan. 29.
— Michael Edward Crowe, 23, of 160 Carr Drive, Cowpens, was charged with petit larceny and possession of a stolen vehicle around 9:25 p.m. Jan. 29.
— Jayme Amanda Gragg, 32, of 3016 Hwy. 102, Ninety Six, was charged with driving under suspension, removing/affixing license plate to misrepresent vehicle owner identity, receiving stolen goods, and possession of a stolen vehicle around 10:47 p.m. Jan. 29.
— Brian Jerome Brown, 34, of 125 Wildlife Drive, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 111:26 p.m. Feb. 1.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Cudd Lane, Union, reported on Jan. 31 that two horse saddles — one black and the other brown — had been stolen from a building on her property between 8 a.m. Jan. 28 and 9 a.m. Jan. 31. The saddles were valued at a total of $1,200.
— A resident of Gaffney Highway, Jonesville, reported on Jan. 31 that three of her dogs — a black and white Boston terrier, a red-nose pit bull, and a terrier mix — went missing from her residence on Jan. 22. Then, on Jan. 30, a black and tan chihuahua, a boxer/pit bull mix, and four six-week-old black lab puppies also went missing. The complainant said she hadn’t been living at the residence but checks on the animals daily. The animals were valued at $1,000.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Quaddrekus Kevon Smith, 18, of 1111 Lakeside Drive, Union, was charged with assault and battery around 5:35 p.m. Feb. 2. According to the arrest warrant, Smith struck a man with his hand about the face during an argument at his apartment.
— Gajarvis Turner, 36, of 223 Hilltop View, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 7:15 p.m. Jan. 31. According to the arrest warrant, Turner grabbed and pushed down a pregnant woman while on Erwin Avenue in Union.
— Michael Leon Holmes, Jr., 39, of 215 Goings Lane, Union, was charged with keeping animals near residence around 7:25 p.m. Jan. 31. According to the arrest warrant, Holmes placed a goat on a chain near his residence in less than the 300 ft. minimum requirement.
— Terry Lorenzo Smith, 38, of 304 Rice Avenue, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 11:10 a.m. Jan. 31.
— Elizabeth Dawn Stephens, 24, of 167 Pasture Drive, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 4:50 p.m. Jan. 31.
— Fred Matthew Crosby, 64, of 1208 W. Main St., Union, was charged with shoplifting around 4:35 p.m. Feb. 1. According to the incident report, Crosby took a Pepsi and a Little Debbie cake out of Lil Cricket, located at 100 North Duncan Bypass, Union. The store manager stated that Crosby came up to the counter and told her he was taking the items. Crosby told the manager to call the police and that he would be outside waiting.
— Michael Nolan Harris, 27, of 121 Aqua Lane, Union, was charged with two counts of assault and battery around 3:25 p.m. Feb. 2. According to arrest warrants, Harris grabbed a woman around her neck and grabbed another woman, throwing her to the ground, during an argument at his residence.
— Quinton Deauntrey Dillard, 22, of 214 S. Church St., Union, and Keiston Quzay Bishop, 20, of 119 Chambers Avenue, Union, were each charged with disorderly conduct around 3 p.m. Feb. 2. According to the arrest warrant, Dillard and Bishop engaged in a physical altercation while on the 300 block of Porter Street in Union.
— Emily Renee Vinson, 19, of 208 Hickory Ridge Road, Jonesville, was charged with disorderly conduct around 3:40 p.m. Jan. 31. According to the arrest warrant, Vinson engaged in a physical altercation with a woman while at Dairi-O, located on Thompson Blvd. in Union.
— Carl Charles Wingfield Patrick, 51, of 212 Kissy Creek Circle, Union, was charged with unlawful use of the telephone around 6:25 p.m. Feb. 1. According to the arrest warrant, Patrick called a woman at 11:52 a.m. Jan. 19 while law enforcement were on scene with the woman. The warrant states law enforcement advised Patrick not to call the woman at 10:51 a.m., one hour prior to the call.
— Tammie Allen Davis, 53, of 315 Williford Road, Union, was charged with driving under the influence around 4:50 a.m. Feb. 2.
