Snow blankets county ahead of second storm

The Prosperity gazebo had a good bit of snow sticking to it Tuesday morning.

The walking track at Wightman United Methodist Church in Prosperity became a scene from a postcard Tuesday morning thanks the snowfall.

Lt. Daniel Floyd patrols downtown Newberry. City Police and Sheriff Deputies were out in force to help motorists during the snow but they urged motorists to limit travel unless essential.

Depot in the snow… the old Prosperity Depot is ready for snow thanks to the Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation’s renovation efforts.

This winding trail through Lynch’s Woods offered an undisturbed, pastoral snow scene Tuesday morning.

Snowfall like this, no doubt, had children in a festive mood Tuesday.
