LAKE MURRAY — The Lake Murray Association has elected five new members to serve on the LMA board of directors.


Terry Crenshaw will serve as vice president, working with board members responsible for Governmental Affairs, Public Information, Membership and Archives. Crenshaw is president of Creative Financial Strategies, a South Carolina based financial services firm.


John Cross was elected as treasurer to handle Lake Murray Association finances and provide fund and project management. A resident of Columbia for 27 years, Cross is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and is vice president of corporate services for Southeastern Freight Lines in Columbia. He and his wife, Sue, have been LMA members since its inception in 1994.


Jane Jameson was elected secretary and will report to LMA President Andy Hyman. A Deacon of Lake Murray Presbyterian Church, Jameson was vice president for Human Resources at the University of South Carolina for a number of years and has been a human resources consultant for institutions of higher education across the country.


Milton Moore will chair the Membership Committee. He will manage all facets of membership including individual, corporate and neighborhood associations. Moore is CEO of The Employer HR Group Inc., a human resources administration company for employers.


Mark McColman was elected to the Safety Committee, managing several LMA committees such as the Lake Murray Safety Consortium, Ladies Day on the Lake, Safety Campaigns and Statistics. McColman is currently a lieutenant for Richland County Sheriff’s Department and commands the combined Marine Patrol Unit and Underwater Recovery Unit as well as the School Resource Officer program.
