NEWBERRY COUNTY — The Piedmont Technical College Foundation has named two new members to its board for the coming year — Lee Matthews representing Abbeville and Trey Taylor representing Newberry.
Taylor is the CFO of Cannon Associates in Newberry. He is a member of the Taylor Foundation of Newberry and the Newberry County Touchdown Club. Taylor and his wife, Cathy, have two children – Charles and Clyde.
Matthews is the plant manager for Sage Automotive Interiors in Abbeville. He is a member of the Abbeville County First Steps board, Upper Savannah Workforce Development board and Abbeville Work Ready Communities Team.
He also serves as chairman of the Upper Savannah Regional Workforce Advisory Board. Matthews and his wife, Chrissy, have two children – Hope and Dylan.
