NEWBERRY — Newberry Academy welcomed more than 300 attendees to its 2016 Blue & Gray Gala held Jan. 30.

Guests were served a catered prime rib dinner, treated to an acoustic music performance by Brendan Roberts and delighted by a balloon artist’s creations. They also took turns in the Gala’s photo booth.

The event culminated with a live and silent auction, featuring hundreds of items for children and adults.

Proceeds from the Gala help fund educational programs for Newberry Academy and have allowed for numerous facility renovations, increases in educational offerings and curriculum and added extracurricular opportunities.
