MCHS Golden Oldies

On May 5, Mid-Carolina High School held its annual Golden Oldies event. Approximately 300 community members joined the MCHS Student Council, JROTC, Chorus, and Art students for a Golden Night of Events. After interviewing some of our veteran staff members, it is believed that Dr. Thomas Crump established this program during his first year as principal at MCHS (circa 1995). For approximately 20 years, this event has been an intentional effort to nourish the strong bond between MCHS and senior citizens from the surrounding community.
