NEWBERRY — The following is the official lineup for the Newberry Christmas Parade, scheduled for Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.
All entries received until the day of the parade will be added to the line-up at the committee’s discretion. For more information or to enter the 2017 Newberry Christmas Parade, contact Heather Danley at 803-530-2604 or Haley Stuhr at 864-430-8607.
This year walking groups will line-up in the same manner as other entries. The majority of entries will be lined up on Johnstone Street between Calhoun Street and Glenn Street. Coordinate with your group to meet at one central location. Downtown traffic will be blocked beginning at 2 p.m.
The Jaycees will be at The Newberry Observer on Friday, Dec. 1 from 12-1 p.m. at which time participants can pick up their parade number or enter the parade. Numbers will also be handed out the day of the parade. Look for Jaycees scattered throughout the parade line-up areas.
The fee to enter is as follows: Walking Group $20; Truck/Car/Float/ATV/etc. $25; Car/Motorcycle Club $45 for the first five vehicles and five dollars for each vehicle thereafter.
