A crowd gathered at Sonic to see what vehicles had arrived for the cruise-in.

NEWBERRY — A chance of rain could not stop car enthusiasts from coming to the Midlands SC Muscle & Classic Car Group’s cruise-in at Sonic Restaurant on June 24.

The group had 24 members to sign in at the registration table and a total of 34 classic cars/muscle cars in attendance.

More than 120 spectators stopped and looked at the vehicles, took photos and swapped car stories with group members.

The Midlands SC Muscle & Classic Car Group’s next cruise-in will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 29 at Advanced Auto Parts.
