• A Health and Wellness Fair is held at 10 a.m. at Miller Chapel AME, 500 Caldwell St. in Newberry. There will be HIV/AIDS discussion and free HIV testing, free blood pressure check, free blood sugar check and more.
• Memorial Outreach, in memory of Ken Burk, will be held in Willowbrook Park at noon. There will be grilled hotdogs, chips, drinks, praise and worship, drama, crafts and more.
• A Community Eclipse Talk is held at Newberry County Public Library from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Amanda Holland from Midlands Astronomy Club will speak on what to expect and how to safely view the eclipse.
• The Midlands South Carolina Muscle and Classic Car Group holds a Cruise-In at Sonic Drive In from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

• Moonlight Movie Night: Newberry Eclipsefest is held in Memorial Park featuring a free showing of “Hidden Figures” at 8:30 p.m. The event is free.
