• A Health and Wellness Fair is held at 10 a.m. at Miller Chapel AME, 500 Caldwell St. in Newberry. There will be HIV/AIDS discussion and free HIV testing, free blood pressure check, free blood sugar check and more.

Memorial Outreach, in memory of Ken Burk, will be held in Willowbrook Park at noon. There will be grilled hotdogs, chips, drinks, praise and worship, drama, crafts and more.

• A Community Eclipse Talk is held at Newberry County Public Library from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Amanda Holland from Midlands Astronomy Club will speak on what to expect and how to safely view the eclipse.

• The Midlands South Carolina Muscle and Classic Car Group holds a Cruise-In at Sonic Drive In from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
