POMARIA — St. Mark AME Church’s Memorial Day Program of remembering and honoring was successful. City Manager Teresa Wilson was the speaker for the service.

Wilson recognized each veteran in the audience and requested that each one get up and share their personal experiences of serving in active duty.

A memorable part of the program was when Wilson requested anyone who wanted to share memories of their deceased loved ones to do so. Many of the veterans and family members stood and shared their own stories and stories of their loved ones.
