Newberry College golf tourney is May 19


The Newberry College Athletic Football Alumni Golf Tournament will be held May 19 at the Newberry County Country Club. Proceeds will go toward the Newberry College Athletic Club. Players should register prior to the tee off time of 11 a.m. A 2017 Buick Encore Preferred FWD, provided by Stokes Trainor of Newberry, will be up for grabs with a hole-in-one shot on Hole 17. At left is Coach Todd Knight and at right is Joe Trainor of Stokes-Trainor, sponsor of the hole in one prize.
