General Sessions guilty pleas heard


NEWBERRY — Eighth Circuit Court Judge Frank R. Addy Jr. accepted the following guilty pleas during General Sessions Court held in Newberry:

• Jacob Mackenzie Elliott, 28, 537 W. McElhaney Road, Taylors, criminal solicitation of a minor, 10 years in prison, suspended; one year, five years probation, credit one day.

• Katherine Nelle Sims, 28, 827 Gray St., Newberry, distribution of crack cocaine, first offense, suspended; three years probation, credit one day in jail.

• Willie Cunningham, 47, 635 S. Main St., Prosperity, possession of crack cocaine (two charges), five years in prison, suspended; probation two years, credit four days.

• Dennis Mathis, 49, 3029 College Park Drive, D1, Newberry, assault and battery, third degree, 30 days in jail, credit time served.

• Gromyko Gemayel Jones, 33, 110 Glenn St. Ext., Newberry, trafficking crack cocaine, seven years in prison, credit three days.

• Nancy Elaine Rebecca Alexander, 31, 455 Duckette Ave., Whitmire, possession of less than one gram of meth, three years in prison, suspended; seven days, probation one year , credit for seven days.

• Debra Lea Butler, 58, 615 Snowen Circle, Newberry, possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana, one day in jail, credit one day.

• Brianna Maria Coleman, 27, 531 Wright St., Newberry, cruelty to children, four days in jail, credit four days.

• Kendrick Marqual Johnson, 27, 1800 Milligan St., Newberry, sale or delivery of handgun to and possession by, certain persons unlawful, five years in prison, suspended; 18 months, probation three years, credit time served since Dec. 12, 2016.

• Walter Larry Sherbert, 43, 601 Taylor St., August, Ga., grand larceny, 30 months in prison, credit time served since December 23, 2016. Concurrent with burglary and petit larceny.

• Tavis Jequez Werts, 24, 164 Forest Hills Blvd., Prosperity, unlawful carrying of handgun, three days in jail and pay $200, credit three days in jail.

• Cedric Lamont Gallman, 32, 337 Crosson St., Newberry, burglary, five years in prison, suspended; 45 days, credit 45 days.
