LITTLE MOUNTAIN — The Little Mountain Reunion will take place this Friday and Saturday and spectators will have plenty to do with food, music, carnival rides, crafts, a parade and other activities.

Chris Graham, chairman of the Little Mountain Reunion Association, said people come around from all over to attend this festival. Many individuals have made a point to attend the reunion since they were children.

“I have such fond memories of the Little Mountain Reunion. As a young child, I knew it was getting close to time for school to come back. You would get to see all your friends you had missed seeing all summer. I love the parade, the speakings, the craft vendors, and of course the Ruritan barbecue,” said Vicki Wicker Amick of Chapin.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. Friday with food vendors and children’s rides by Palmetto Amusement of Lexington. Rides will include a swing, Ferris wheel and a bouncy house for the younger children. Tickets will be sold for the rides, either single tickets or a day pass. The main event for Friday will be the Keith Dominick Band, which will play from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
