NEWBERRY — Newberry Elementary School hosted its annual Grandparents’ Lunch in September. Grandparents and a few parents enjoyed a meal with their NES students and had a chance to visit the NES school book fair led by NES media specialist Cerese Long.

Over 500 students, grandparents and parents were served lunch during the annual event. NES cafeteria worker Debbie Harris said she thought the event went well. The day was enjoyable for grandparent guests and students.
