Together with their families, Brennen Paul Barber and Elizabeth Ann Burdick announce their engagement.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Burdick of Boiling Springs. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Burdick of Memphis, Tenn., and Dr. and Mrs. T. A. Hinson of Rogers, Ark.

Elizabeth will be graduating from Charleston Southern University in August 2017, with a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing. She is currently employed by Starbucks.

Brennen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Barber of Prosperity. He is the grandson of Mr. Ryan Barber Sr. and the late Mrs. Frankie Barber of West Columbia and Mrs. Madeline Hipp and the late Mr. Cornelius Hipp of Prosperity.

Brennen is a 2016 graduate of Charleston Southern University with a bachelor of arts degree in Christian Studies and will be furthering his education at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary beginning in January. He is currently a Ministry Intern at New Life Baptist Church of Goose Creek and is employed by Starbucks.

The couple is planning a September wedding in Spartanburg. Following the wedding, the couple will be residing in Wake Forest, N.C.
