The Newberry Master Gardeners Association would like to congratulate the graduates of the Fall 2009 Master Garderners class.

The class of 18 students attended 40 hours of  class over a 14 week period and took their final exam on November 17th.

To complete the requirements of the Master Gardener program and earn their certificates, graduates will compete 40 volunteer hours.

The Master Gardener Association of Newberry County welcomed 15 new members from the graduating class and will assist them in earning their volunteer hours.  Members of the Newberry Master Gardener Association have the opportunity to work on committees for various projects such as:  the farmer's market, the scholarship committee and Oktoberfest.

The Master Gardener's association is looking forward to an exciting year ahead!
