Four Wolves still ranked in top 10 of NCAA statistical rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The fourth-ranked Newberry Wolves once again feature prominently in this week’s NCAA rankings for Most Dominant Wrestler, most falls and most technical falls.


A pair of senior leaders are featured in multiple rankings, led by B.J. Young, who is ranked fifth in the most dominant standings and third in the rankings for most technical falls.


Jeff Vesta is rated ninth in the most dominant standings and 10th in the rankings for most falls.


Also in the top 10 in the rankings are Jared Holliday at seventh in the standings for most falls and Seiji Borja at ninth in the standings for most tech falls.


Newberry wraps up the regular season Thursday night against regional foe Anderson, where the Wolves will celebrate the careers of their seniors.
