FLORENCE — More than 100 top agribusiness companies will be featured at the S.C. AgriBiz and Farm Expo set for Jan. 16-17 at the Florence Civic Center.
“The latest 21st century agricultural technology will be highlighted by educational displays and professionals on site,” said Jody Martin, chairman of the Expo. Agricultural equipment will be on exhibit inside and outside the civic center.
Another highlight of the Expo will be ‘Breakfast with Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers’ on Friday morning, Jan. 17. Admission tickets to the breakfast are available but must be purchased in advance by visiting www.SCAgriBizExpo.com. Proceeds from this event will benefit the SC Commissioner’s School for Agriculture held at Clemson University each summer.
“The goal of the SC AgriBiz and Farm Expo is to incorporate the industry’s traditional roots with modern innovations to promote the continued expansion of South Carolina’s agribusiness,” Martin emphasized.
