We need to thank God in all things

The Bible is filled with examples of men and women facing different circumstances that serve to promote, not destroy, God’s peace.

It’s not always easy to thank God when we are having trouble or sickness.

I called this lady by mistake the other week. I was trying to reach someone else but got her instead.

She said Patsy it was meant for you to call me. Then she began to tell me about the things she had been going through. She had breast cancer and she is an only child so she is also taking care of her mom that is 97 which lives with her and her husband. I told her that she would come out on top and she said I know that I will.

She also told me that her favorite flower is a rose and it also has thorns. And I told her, but look at the top is a beautiful rose. God blessed us as we talked for awhile. Children of God be reminded that after going through the thorns that come into our lives, we will come out on top, a beautiful place in heaven will be our home.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

We are to thank God in all things.
