What does it mean to seek the Lord? It means that we put God first. A relationship with him becomes number one in our life.
No matter what happens to us, or around us, we choose to obey God and follow him.
Our daily relationship with God is so important. To seek the Lord means we want him in our life.
We talk to him and ask his direction in our life. We consult him at all times, and in all situations.
Seeking the Lord, means we will read his Word on a regular basis. We will have a desire to grow in our understanding of God’s plan for us. He teaches us as no one else can. If we listen and obey, we will know what’s good and what is evil.
“With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” Isaiah 26:9
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.” Proverbs 8:17
“The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that that did understand, and seek God.”
