Keenan High School made a statement, defeating Mid-Carolina High School, 32-8.The Keenan Raiders advance to 5-1 and 3-0 in the region, while the Mid-Carolina Rebels fall to 3-2 and 1-1 in the region.“I really thought they physically beat us to death,” said Louie Alexander, head football coach for Mid-Carolina.Throughout the night, the Rebels’ quarterback, Corey Stone, faced pressure from the Raiders’ pass rush.“They got a lot of pressure on (Stone), and we couldn’t get the quick pass game going,” Alexander said. “When you can’t get the quick pass going, it isn’t good.

 

Wolves’ comeback negated by turnovers in 38-29 loss at Mars Hill
