COLUMBIA — The United Way of the Midlands’ board of directors has approved its Community Framework for Action in Homelessness that outlines how United Way plans to invest resources, pursue additional funding, create initiatives and strengthen partnerships to reduce homelessness over the next three years.
COLUMBIA – Gov. Nikki Haley and the First Family will hold a free Christmas Open House from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Governor’s Mansion. No reservations are required.The First Family asks that guests bring canned goods for Harvest Hope Food Bank as well as school supplies for the Original Six Foundation to donate to public school students. Canned goods and school supply donations will be accepted at the entrance to the Governor’s Mansion.
